// common issues I can help with
📶
Slow or Spotty Wi-Fi
Weak signal, dead zones, or speeds that don't match your plan.
🔌
Can't Connect
Devices that won't join the network or keep dropping off.
🔄
Router Config
Port forwarding, DNS settings, guest networks, and firmware updates.
🔒
Security & Privacy
Lock down your network, check for suspicious devices, change passwords.
📺
Streaming & Gaming
Buffering, high latency, or NAT issues affecting your devices.
🏠
New Home Setup
Setting up a new router, modem, or mesh system from scratch.
The Classic Reboot
Power off your modem and router, wait 30 seconds, then plug the modem in first. Wait for it to fully connect before turning on the router.
Check Your Speed
Run a test at fast.com or speedtest.net — ideally wired directly to your router. Share the results with me.
Forget & Rejoin Wi-Fi
On your device, forget the network entirely and reconnect from scratch. Sometimes cached bad credentials cause persistent issues.
Flush DNS Cache
On Windows: run ipconfig /flushdns in Command Prompt. On Mac: sudo dscacheutil -flushcache in Terminal.
